Awarded to: Full-time student
Award: $325 (one award)
Criteria:
1. Resident of the Town of Brookhaven, NY
2. Non-traditional student returning to college for a career advancement or career change, after being away from formal educational institutions for at least five years
3. Enrolled in one of the business programs: Marketing, Accounting, Business Management, or similar program
4. 3.0 or better GPA with at least 20 earned credits, 12 of which completed at Suffolk County Community College
5. Essay (300-500 words) describing your knowledge, interest and understanding of the challenges to women re-entering academia. Please address your financial needs and how this scholarship will help you.
