Reading Scholarship: Grant Campus Transitional Studies
This scholarship was created to support students on the Michael J. Grant Campus who have taken developmental courses, including at least five credits of developmental reading.
Awarded to: Full-time students on the Grant Campus
Award: $400 (two awards)
Criteria:
1. Must have taken at least five credits of developmental reading
2. Completed a minimum of 24 credits
3. 3.2 GPA
4. Please request a letter of recommendation from a developmental studies faculty.
5. Please write a short essay (200 – 250 words) selecting one of the following topics: Write about a time you learned from a mistake and explain how that error affected you; OR Pick a quote that describes you and explain why you connect with it; OR Describe an aspect of your identity, background, or story that is essential to who you are today.
6. Please upload a copy of your unofficial transcript.
