Henry A. Gilbert Memorial Scholarship - Continuing Student Scholarship
The Henry A. Gilbert Memorial Fund Committee of the Suffolk Community College Foundation established this scholarship in support of students who are deaf, hard of hearing or experiencing communication disorders.
Awarded to: Full-time or Part-time CONTINUING students, College-wide
Award: Varies up to $14,000 for full-time students and up to $9,000 for part-time students. This scholarship provides support over and above the student’s financial aid awards and other resources, ensuring a full-tuition, fees, and cost of attendance award.
Criteria:
1. Must provide documentation affirming deafness, hearing loss or communication disorder. It also includes students who identify as being on the autism spectrum.
2. Submit a 250-word essay describing your deafness, hearing loss or communication disorder.
3. GPA of 2.75 or better
