Leon Hertzson Photographic Scholarship

For over 75 years, Leon Hertzson has studied, taught, mentored, judged, curated and innovated in the techniques of achieving the exceptional photographic image. He has created this scholarship to ensure that generations of Suffolk County Community College’s photography students are assisted along their pathway to success.
Awarded to: Full-time or Part-time Continuing Student
Award: $2,500 (one award)
Criteria:
1. Enrolled in the Photographic Imaging Program
2. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need as reflected in an additional essay
3. Preference will be given to students with a documented disability
