McNair and Belgrave Memorial Scholarship for CONTINUING Students

Awarded to: Full-time or Part-Time CONTINUING student, traditional aged or adult learner
Award: Up to $10,000 split between fall and spring semesters. Covers ONLY tuition, fees, books, and technology requirements for your scheduled classes each semester. (One award)
Criteria:
1. Needs to have graduated from a high school in the Brentwood, Central Islip, Bayshore, or Wyandanch districts;
2. Enrolled in a program leading to a career in education, including the Early Childhood, Adolescent Education Studies; Childhood Education Studies;
3. GPA 3.0 or better;
4. 250-word essay on future goals and commitment to community service or community advocacy.

Applicants may be awarded this scholarship consecutive years but needs to reapply each year.
