The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration STEM Scholarship in Memory of James Fabian

The critical mission of The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration is to provide sight restoration for thousands in need.

Please complete the online Scholarship Application by MAY 15, 2025.

Award: $3000 one time award

Criteria:
1. Be enrolled in a STEM program: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
2. Provide two letters of recommendation from current professors
3. Provide a copy of your unofficial transcript
4. Research and propose a method within your STEM major, when applied, might help to increase the number of eye, organ and/or tissue donations provided so that an increased number of individuals waiting for sight and life-saving transplants might receive them. Doubled-spaced, 1000 words or less, using footnotes and bibliography where necessary.
4. Reside within the Eye-Bank’s service areas: NYC, Long Island, the lower Hudson Valley (Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Orange Counties)
